As we approach Giving Tuesday on November 28, we’ll be accepting nominations for our annual holiday giving campaign. This will be our 8th year organizing this effort, which has resulted in nearly 70 families receiving free loads of split firewood since 2016.
A big shout out to our many customers and several businesses that have additionally donated over the years — each of these donations have been matched dollar for dollar by Firewood Factory NL. Octogon Group has also consistently helped with getting these loads of firewood to their recipients.
Past recipients are families within St. John’s, Pouch Cove, Flatrock, Torbay, Bauline, Portugal Cove – St. Philips, Maddox Cove and Mount Pearl.
We are committed to making a positive impact in our community and helping provide wood heat to families in need around the holidays is one small contribution we’re able to make.
